HAIR Auditions Continue!
The Hideout Players are still looking to fill male roles, and minority female roles for HAIR - The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical!
This is the NEW audition announcement for HAIR - The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, presented by The Hideout Players. HAIR, originally produced in 1967, is a rock musical that tells the story of “the tribe”: a group of bohemian, long-haired hippies opposing the Vietnam War draft during the Age of Aquarius in New York City.
We are only looking to fill male roles and minority female roles. All auditionees must be at least 21 years of age. Please refer to the following information when preparing to audition:
Audition Date
Auditions will take place at the Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia, Chicago) on Sunday, June 17th (3:30-6:30pm)
Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals will begin in late June, and performances will take place at The Hideout, August 24th, 25th, and 26th.
